Undergraduate Students
Thank you for your interest in the Jeong Lab! We are always excited to connect with passionate undergraduate students who are committed to advancing the health of underserved older adults. We are currently accepting applications for volunteer positions for undergraduate research assistants (URA). If you want to join us now or in the future, please follow the instructions and complete the application linked below. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Members of the Jeong Lab can also be assigned through theĀ Health Equity Internship program.
As a URA, you may be responsible for the following areas:
- Assisting with literature search/reviews
- Assisting with data entry on Qualtrics or REDCap
- Organizing data and running statistical analysis
- Writing out reports on the statistical findings (descriptive and inferential statistics)
- Managing the Lab website and social handles
- Developing abstracts, manuscripts, posters/slides for scientific meetings

- There will be opportunities to apply for undergraduate fellowships and conference presentations locally and nationally to build your resume
- Potential opportunities to be an author in publications and attend scientific conferences
Requirements:
- MUST BE ABLE to work remotely
- 5-15 hours/weekdays (between 9am-6pm)
- Minimum of 1 year commitment
- Previous research experience as an assistant is a plus, but training will be provided
